that made the wind chill even cooler. 39 in winchester, 43 in culpepper, annapolis and krofton coming in at 45 degrees. 36 in leaseberg, down to the freezing mark in winchester, 44 in fredericksburg. it is a chilly evening as our storm system moved on by. that's it for the rain for us but back to the west, a completely different story. this is a monster storm in the denver area. they're expecting one to two feet of snow, upwards of 50 miles an hour winds. they already reported upward of 10 inches south and east of denver, too. this is is a big one for them. there this is a classic type of snowstorm, snow to the north and severe weather to the south. this is looking more and more potent for our area. it's not going to be anything like this is out there but we'll have to watch it closely. here comes that next storm and i do think now that there could be enough cold air that some of us could see some snowflakes overnight saturday night into the day on sunday. this is still a very tough forecast. we're still watching this one very, very closely but right now it does not look like we're go

culpepper into kentucky. look at what is going on in the south. this is a line of massive thundershowers off the coast. this will be blocking some of that moisture. he can get an idea of the track of the moisture coming to our south. as we go through the nighttime hours and especially during late tomorrow and on into sunday, that all be the story once again. there is the moisture. tomorrow, a lot of sunshine but again with that strong pattern we have, without each really being in the east coast, the storm track will stay to our south. anything, we will have a grazing pattern for you folks in southern maryland. you may be seeing some wet snow into sunday. i do not think there is any threat of any significance know here in the washington area. tomorrow, in the meantime, when you get up, it will be sunny and cool. increasing clouds. a another balmy day with temperatures 10 degrees above average. there is a risk of some snow, but again, it will be to the south. right here around washington, a 50/50 chance of seeing anything on sunday. for the holiday

culpepper area 30, and 34 in la plat a. temperatures were still warmer than they were all day today in some spots. rain and snow in some upper levels of the atmosphere, but none of this is reaching the ground this year, atime, and i expect it to. this is a little finger of moisture trying to move its way in here, but this is the rain and snow to the west, and this is all very light and this is all going to translate offshore to an even bigger storm that's going to stay well offshore, so most of this moisture is going to miss us completely. i do expect to see a couple flurries during the morning tomorrow in some locations north and west, maybe a couple sprinkles late in the afternoon. here's that storm system and here's that storm just off the coast. watch how this one kind of wraps itself up and moves up the coast while the other one just kind of fades away. don't expect a lot in the way of rain and snow tomorrow, but i do expect wednesday to be nice. some high clouds moving in a held of our next system, but i do expect wen
