take a look at some numbers. 75 at reagan national airport as we speak. 75 in petersburg and culpepper. 75 in frederick. it's widespread. just took a while for the sun to get here. that combination of sunshine with sotherly winds have really warmed us up very nicely. we've got the gusty winds now. these are the wind gusts in the past hour to 25 at reagan national and 24 at b.w.i. thurgood marshall and 24-mile-per-hour gusts at washington dulles. winds turn to the west. it's happened in cumberland and petersburg they're changing. that's where the cold front is. behind the front, the winds change direction. ahead of the front, we're seeing the showers and thunderstorms and the whole line is moving to the east but the individual cells are moving northeast so that kind of slows the timing down here. but we're thinking between 7:00 and 8ly:00 that's probably the earliest time frame to get close to the metro area. moving to the west-southwest first. our futurecast is helping us timing it out. at 8:00 even a broken line northwest. this is a simulation by computer. it is not a, you know this i
