he had a great joke about cumberbatch, making fun of john travolta. thought that worked very well.re calling him out for the whole thing with octavia spencer and her watching the cases and then having two white guys appointed to watch her watch the cases. a lot of people are calling it racist, a lot of racist backlash on twitter for that. and then to have the image of him in his tidy whiteys. that's the image i think you will be left with from these oscars. >> jason, what are they going to take away from these oscars, nph and the political statements maybe made on stage. what's the take away moment you get a sense behind the scenes? >> the one moment i think had to be when common and john legend performed that brought down the house. they cut to david oyelowo in the crowd. tears streaming down his face. then when john legend and common made their speech, they cut back to david oyelowo again. more tears coming down their faces there. i think there were some great political speeches, not just john legend and common but a lot of people. i think that's what people will take from tonigh
