a couple of storms out the cumberland way.land is included in this reaching into the cumberland area. so several storms here that we're tracking. this is a rather large thunderstorm moving toward chambersburg now. if it survives as it pushes further south it could rumble into hagerstown and several hours from now eventually into the western baltimore county. but, again, this is still at least one to two hours away and these have the potential to potentially lose some strength. we'll see. this doesn't tbheen look like what -- begin to look like what we saw. there will be the possibility of storms. we'll be tracking it here. you can track it 24/7 or with one of our weather apps. and through the day it was hot and sticky. that was the scenario in baltimore. dundalk today mostly sunny but hot and hazy for much of the day. the weather has remained clear so far -- so far. overnight into early tomorrow could be different. even in carroll county, a few clouds beginning to edge in. we watch the storms to the west. temperatures statewid

cumberland is 64 degrees but it is planning in cumberland right now. about one and decrease for the high temperature but when you factor in the humidity which is increasing it will feel like 105-109 degrees later this afternoon. there's about a 30% chance of storms later this afternoon and evening than that will mainly be north of town. we are under a slight risk for severe thunderstorms later today. in pennsylvania, that as a moderate risk. it is almost certain there will have severe thunderstorms north of the mason-dixon line. around here it will just be isolated. heavy rainfall lightning and thunder near cumberland but not much for gusty winds. it is pushing off to the east and south east. it will continue to track to the southeast early this morning but i am not expecting that to make it to the metro area. 96 degrees by tomorrow for 100 today and back down into the 90's the next few days and by sunday it could be upper 80's. there will be a slight drop in the humidity but it is still typical summertime humidity. we have storm chances daily. >> i ha

live doppler 9000, big storms to the north of baltimore and also now north of cumberland. these are a little more troubling because these are actually trying to form a line in central sections of west virginia. we'll zoom in. the same frontal boundary exists just to our north. it's going to try to slide to our south by tomorrow, but this is the line of showers and storms we're watching right in west virginia coming out of ohio. they'll roll through tonight before midnight. let me keep the chance of a shower or thunderstorm in all night because we're not out of the woods when the sun goes down as often is the case. right now it's quiet, some storms entering couple land and parts of western maryland. -- cumberland and parts of western maryland. look at the lightning with these storms. a lot of lightning in ohio, weakening a little bit. this is a good sign as it crosses central west virginia. some of these will be heavy and produce strong gusty winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain as they roll through later tonight. 92 right now. that's actually good. it was 101 yesterday
