this is a look at the cupertino hills looking over the south bay. we are going to see those temperatures starting out. we had them earlier this morning in the 60s. we are going to stay in the mid-80s for much of the afternoon. but a nice cooldown under way. right around sunset. if you want to hold off and take a walk this evening, it's going to start to feel much better once that sea breeze kicks in. because we are seeing that fog near the coast. that will keep those areas leak halfmoon bay in the 60s. san francisco in the low 70s. then for the inland valleys, well, we're still going to be hot this afternoon. now, we're still seeing that fog near the coast protect some inland cooling, but once that fog clears out, those temperatures will go up quickly. so as we go into the weekend, we'll see the dangerous heat going away, but in comes the storm system that will be moving up the coast. the only concern i have right now is that this could possibly produce some elevated thunderstorms, some lightning and may not bring us a whole lot of rain. so when you
