i know when curtis sliwa was here, new york republican mayoral candidate he quoted your rise as somethingn this environment? do you think it can be repeated? >> yes, there is no question in my mind that the republicans have a real opportunity to win the governorship next year. what you need, neil, you said it right, it is an overwhelmingly democratic state, but what you need enough democratic voters who say they cannot tolerate the direction of the state with the current leadership and they want a change in direction. neil: governor, do you think that changes with time though? i think misspoke, mario cuomo, andrew cuomo's father who you pop telled. >> right. neil: what is interesting, is it the three-term thing, enough already, no matter who you are, that people tire of you? do you think that was part of what was undoing governor andrew cuomo? i don't want to take leaps here. i am just curious it has not been a good track record for those after three terms going for a fourth? >> neil, i think that is absolutely right. there is truth to that, voters get tired of you after a period of time.
