i'm cyndi lundeberg. i'm john huck. the suspect was shot and killed... after confronting police officers with a gun. this shooting shut down the 215 has been following these cases this week... and now has details on what led up to the officer involved shooting. he joins us now live at metro headquarters. that car chase ended with a deadly shooting here along the 215... and word of the fatal shooting spread quickly to the victims and friends of victims of more than a dozen armed robberies the suspect is tied to. "its very much a sense of relief" its a sense of relief shared by many who live in this neighrborhood near warm springs and valle verde. police say the man who was tied to this armed carjacking and 13 other robberies at henderson businesses -- was shot and killed by metro police.
