lying on the ground in the 400 block of cypress avenue. police say he appeared to have suffered traumatic injuries. 4-year-old nicholas vargas of san bruno was arrested in connection with the killing. police have not yet released any information regarding a possible motive. >>> there was a wild police pursuit this morning that ended with a crash on the peninsula. the chase ended at broadway and el camino real and burlingame after the suspect fled from san mateo officers. it's 3409 clear what he slammed in to -- it's not clear what he slammed into. it appears the right rear wheel was damaged. the pursuit began around 8:30, when the police noticed he was driving erratically. we heard reports he was driving at high rates of speed and at one point he was driving in the wrong direction against traffic. authorities are looking into why he was driving this way. the driver said it was due to a medical issue. he was taken to a trauma issue with injuries that are not life- threatening. >>> the giants and police are stepping up security at at&t park
