i hate to say anything is good for d'angelo. for the families, i hesitate to say it brings closure because in my over 40 years of prosecuting and defending murderers, none of this ever brings closure. people who for that, but it really never does. we heard early in the piece that the prosecutor said a lot of the victims and a lot of the witnesses are income their 80s and may not be around by the time it got to trial. keep in mind, frank and julie, this trial not only would cost a lot of money but take a year to prosecute. it saves that time and it does bring a conclusion. i think the salient thing that it does this even if they were to go to trial, we would hope the jury would bring back a lot of guilty verdicts on the 13 murders. what happens then is after the guilty's it then goes on appeal and we all know that the death penalty and co. california is being held by order of the governor. we don't have the death penalty but of appeal could take 15 or 20 years. he looks like he's a pretty old 74. will he be alive in 20 years? for
