in 2017 we have so many resident complaints that are mediation bureau, without filing a lawsuit, returned $7 million into the pockets of d.c. residence. well, committees react differently when there is an attorney general on the other end of the line. the residents of the district of columbia are starting to complain more and more. that's causing us to need more talented people. let me talk about the talent in the district of columbia. it used to be the case that the office kind of rosen profile and had good lawyers. certain types of lawyers didn't apply. one of my colleagues was a fifth-year associate. a turkey sandwich come i think it was. and next thing i know, i'm recruiting him. thankfully, he came over. talent from covington is coming over. we just posted a job for a solicitor general position and a deputy solicitor general position. five united states of cream court law clerk's applied to the job, we can only higher two. this is a great place for talent. and the talent is going to be deployed in areas like antitrust law, privacy law, to protect our residents. >> legault ag's -- like all -- public. important doing so
