d.c. into southern maryland. we talked about this earlier, southern maryland is the best chance, highest risk for big storms. now we're on the east side of 95 around port royal. the red is an indication of heavy rains. some wind gusts but nothing crazy. these are not severe, just heavy. this is moving east essentially headed toward colonial beach at 7:37 on storm tracker. this is moving across prince frederick across the bay in the next half hour. in terms of the severe thunderstorm watch it's south of us. it does include our friend in the northern neck until 11:00. if you're in southern maryland, you're not technically in the watch, but big storms are possible another hour or two. temperatures, 65 now, 73 in culpeper, 83 earlier today in culpeper. it's still 77 in fredericksburg, cooler to the north and east. that cool air marine layer was tough to scour out today. yellow alert this evening for strong storms primarily south and east of town, highest risk in southern maryland. time frame till about 8:00, and then
