d.c. from philadelphia's chinatown this morning when the accident happened. the bus has since returned and is now in a lot in south philadelphia. investigators are inspecting it and talking with that driver. take a look at this now. sky force 10 over franklin and race streets after the crash happened around 9:45 this morning. it's just steps from police headquarters near franklin square. the bus hit the man as he was walking across that crosswalk. he was in it, as a matter of fact. the bus then dragged him about 50 feet. police aren't even sure if the bus driver was aware it happened. >> there are some witnesses, pedestrians driving by, if they could call our headquarters and give us information because there was no one that stayed at the scene afterward and certainly someone had to be there. >> reporter: police released that still image of this bus. they have surveillance video but tell us it is far too graphic to he release. the victim was 48 years old. nbc 10's cydney long is at the scene where new details are being released. follow us as we follow the bre
