d.c. fire trucks and other units were out of service today not staffed at all.onight, the firefighter's union says department leaders are shutting down stations to save on overtime. >> we have five units out of service. the medic units assigned, seven engine, 33 engine, an ambulance, and two fire engines, engine company 28 and truck company 14. >> the fire department says this is not a money saving tactic. a spokesperson says there are no station shutdowns. units are off the streets for various reasons, like maintenance and vacation coverage. the public needs to know the city has full and complete coverage. >>> family friends said good- bye to a former deli owner murdered in her own store today. a private memorial service was held for june lim. she was shot inside grace deli last week. during an attempted robbery. so far, no arrests. police are hoping video cameras in and outside the store will lead to her killer. they are also offering a reward for information leading to a conviction. >>> police are on the hunt for a sexual predator. they are looking for a gunm

d.c. the united states supreme court, in a major decision, a 5-4 decision upholds the president's health care reform law, the affordable care act as it's called, saying that it is in fact constitutional. the individual mandate is constitutional, based on the authority that the congress gives the congress to go ahead and tax the american people, the individual mandate was rejected based on the commerce clause of the constitution. but it was upheld based on the tax writing provisions of the u.s. congress, and the executive branch of the u.s. government. a 5-4 decision. the key decision by the chief justice of the united states, john roberts. he sided with the other, the democratic appointed members of the supreme court, breyer, ginsberg, kagan, sotomayor, together with chief justice john roberts, they were in the majority. kennedy, scalia, alito and thomas, they were in the minority. the health care reform law stays in full -- fully remains the law of the land in the united states. kate baldwin has been watching all of this unfold. kate, you're outside the supreme court. give us some more on wh
