popping up and we had some later yesterday at some locations. a couple of storms moved through in harford county, but right now looking at quieter conditions. there's a chance for evening and thunderstorms for today. here is what we're looking with regard to the closer views of the showers that moved through yesterday out of the way. far west not far off the mark seeing some showers see if they hold together and moving in for the western counties, but it looks more so for the afternoon and a pop up chance of a thunderstorm. the stationary front or the cold front that it was, now becomes a stationary front and will have some, as i said pieces of emergency rolling along the stationary boundary. that will bring with it the chance for a couple of thunderstorms for later on in the afternoon or evening. the good news is with that boundary we get more of a northerly flow. as far as the best chance of a shower or thunderstorm, really hard to pinpoint this, but probably during the warmest part of the day, you could see the eastern shore around 1:00 p.m., further points, west a little bit later into the afternoon and evening. in fact, it's at 8:00 to 11:00, still a chance for a shower or thunderstorm to push through. it depends on how fast the thunderstorm pushes up the coast. a chance for a couple of showers tomorrow afternoon as well. this pattern continues, we see repeated chances for afternoon or evening and thunderstorms. that is tropical depression number 2. we will see if it becomes something for significant in terms of a tropical storm or hurricane as it moves through the eastern north atlantic, and it moves toward the eastern part of the u.s. we are keeping an eye on things for you. 74 degrees in d.c. these temperatures will climb. 84 degrees for the high. can't rule out a thunderstorm there as well as the central part of the state where we climb to 87 degrees for the high, the western part of maryland also with an isolated chance a thunderstorm
