our da lin joins us live from the port. what are you seeing and hearing? i understand there may be some new developments in this protest. >> reporter: that is correct. that ship, kb orlando, is on its way out of the port of oakland as we speak. new information coming out within the last 10 minutes, there were three protesters who tied themselves and held onto the rope ladder to the opening of the ship and that kept the ship here for hours. apparently, oakland police or the coast guard officers might have removed those protesters and that allowed the ship to leave. i am watching the ship leave the port of oakland. a few hundred palestinian supporters and protesters gathering here at the port of oakland. police have blocked them off at three different areas. there was one group of about 20 people that were demonstrating right next to the ship. three protesters were holding onto a rope ladder mounted to the ship entrance. that ship was supposed to leave sometime this morning but with those protesters refusing to allow the entryway, the ship could not leave. w
