dale cregan has appeared in court.murders of fiona bone and nicola hughes, he has been charged with the murder of a father and son and with four attempted murders. a 15—year—old boy was also arrested in connection with the murders of the two police officers but was released on bail. our correspondent has more. it was just before 8am this morning when a police convoy carrying dale cregan has swept through the streets of manchester. this was a high—security operation involving many armed officers, rarely seen. once the conway was in the underground car park of the magistrates court, they stood outside. the pedestrian entrance to the court was armed —— watched by armed vehicles. he had a police escort to the door. at 10 he had a police escort to the door. at10 am, dale he had a police escort to the door. at 10 am, dale cregan, who only has one eye, was brought into court. he was flanked by policeman who kept their hands tucked into their body armour. when asked to confirm his age and name, he replied, yes. he is accused o
