supervisor daly would like to speak against the motion. supervisor daly: perhaps it has to do with what supervisor dufty said in terms of wanting to allow a round of voting to see where the votes are after having expressed support for multiple candidates. if you look at the voting with supervisor dufty voting against his preferred candidate, no other candidate received more than 4 votes. i would recommend giving supervisor dufty another round before we reopen nominations as a think the intent of giving everybody the opportunity to vote before locking in the first nomination makes the most sense in terms of going forward. i don't know how many rounds before everybody had enough opportunities to vote for the return candidates. i voted for three. people have different strategies, but at some point, i would assume that supervisor dufty or maxwell will cast an aye vote. supervisor campos: i also want to join supervisor daly in asking that we vote in another round. i think that is consistent with the statements made and we have an opportunity to
