our damian trujillo spent the day in half moon bay. i know you spoke with people who knew one of the farm workers. i understand marciano jimenez. what are you learning about him today? >> reporter: well, audrey, friends and family tell me that he has been here for quite a few years. he was unable to go back to mexico when his mom died and then his dad died for a couple reasons, for financial reasons and for immigration reasons. and so they said he was kind of distraught for sometime because he was not able to attend the funerals of his own parents. he attended school here in the half moon bay area, pinata college and menlo college as well studying english and computers. he wanted to better himself, become a better person and hopefully work his way out of the fields at some point until this tragedy happened. his family was here earlier today. they had some prayers, they knelt on both knees and had some prayers for him and all the other victims as well. just a tragic event that is gripping this community and understandably those family m
