i'm dan ashley. >> i'm cheryl jennings. thank you for joining us.fter a massive search and tense standoff, the shooting suspect is now in custody. he was wheeled out of a home in auburn about an hour ago. his arrest ends a day-long violent crime spree. it started in sacramento this morning where a sheriff's deputy was shot and killed. another man also critically wounded during a carjacking attempt. the spree then moved to auburn, where two more deputies were shot. abc 7 news reporter alyssa harrington joins us from sacramento with breaking details. >> reporter: that five and a half hour manhunt is over. two people are in custody and two sheriff's deputies are dead. here's what we're learning this hour. 34-year-old marcel marquez was taken into custody at a home in auburn, about 30 miles from sacramento, where he was holed up. here he is being taken out on a gurney. he has been transported to a hospital, then will be taken to jail. sheriff's officials say he went on a deadly shooting and carjacking spree that killed two deputies and injured at least
