i'm dan ashley. >> and i'm ama daetz. abc 7 news reporter katie marzullo is live where the shooting happened in san jose where the shootings happened. katie? >> through the company he worked for we have learned the identity of the man shot and killed inside his home. his wife was also killed. the killer was someone they knew. a husband and wife shot and killed in their willow glen home. the husband name is nari narin prabhu. juniper networks is deeply saddened by the recent loss of a long-time employee. we are focused on supporting our employees and their families through this difficult time. the shooting happened around 9:00 wednesday night. >> we heard a series of pops. thinking that it was firecrackers or some other type of noise. we didn't think too much of it until the police showed up. >> san jose police have not identified the shooter, but say he was the ex-boyfriend of the couple's daughter. the police chief says the 24-year-old man ultimately pointed a gun at police and was shot and killed by an officer. a neighb
