[ laughter ] i'm so happy he's here. now, since this is "battle of the instant bands," these guys had to write us a brand new song today. that's right. what they're -- they're going to perform a song that they just wrote earlier today. here's how they did it. before the show, we picked a random member of our studio audience and had them meet with each band for a few minutes. the bands then had a half hour to write a song about our audience member and they're going to play it for us tonight.
