dan noyes, abc7 news. >> in the south bay, an excessive force lawsuit filed against the san jose policel go to trial. five plaintiffs argue officers used violent tactics during the george floyd protests in 2020. they say their first and fourth amendment rights were violated. one plaintiff even says he lost his eye during the protests when an officer shot him with a rubber projectile while sj pd admitted the officers were not properly trained in crowd control because of understaffed . well, your drive across bay area bridges could go up $1.50. it's a proposal that's getting pushed back. state senator scott wiener is backing an effort to increase tolls on all local bridges except the golden gate. he says the five year increase is needed to prevent big cutbacks on bart and muni. but some lawmakers representing the bay area in washington sent a letter to governor newsom expressing their concern. abc7 news anchor dan ashley spoke with congressman mark desaulnier about his reservation fees. >> why do you oppose it? >> well, i don't oppose it. the letter says that we have concerns, understand
