dana loesch, kirsten powers, steve hayes, and dana perino, former white house press secretary and co-hostucker, the stakes for donald trump this eving? >> the stakes are about momentum. i think trump is the only person in the race likely to even getting -- or the possibility of getting to the majority of delegates. if he loses don't and doesn't get any delegates, and that seems possible, that will be a tougher task. he has five primaries after tonight that look good for him, but really tonight, what's at stake, the convention in july in ohio. will it be contested or not? that could truly be a tough moment for the republican party. if trump wins tonight, he will be the nominee. looks unlikely. it's all about the convention tonight. >> steve, a wisconsin native, how is wisconsin different? you see this playing out, the anti-establishment vote. well, in wisconsin, you have establishment figures, governor walker, paul ryan, who are pretty well liked in wisconsin. >> yeah, the results tonight should put to bed this myth that the contest thus far has been just the establishment on the one hand

steve hayes, dana perino, juan williams joins us now, charlie hurt and dana loesch back with us. okay. charlie, not a real surprise because we saw in the polls going in that donald trump had the lead. if it holds he has 50% plus, maybe high 50's in these states tonight, what does that tell you? >> well, certainly, it looks like it's going to be a very good night for donald trump. problem that ted cruz has right now is that, you know, before the utah race, he urged john kasich to get out because he had no mathematical chance of nomination.ning, cinching you know, now it appears that donald trump can make the exact same argument to ted cruz and to john kasich and they basically are going to have to make the argument to republicans and supporters why they shouldn't go on from here because they do not have any path except to go to brokered convention. and if we learn nothing else from the big autopsy that we did after the 2012 is that, you know, convention brokered conventions where you are talking about delegates do not pick good general election nominees. nominees should come from

steve hayes, dana perino, kirsten powers, charles hurt, and dana loesch joins us as well.you all. so, let's just start with that steve hayes, on the -- what might be the general election matchup and getting a feel for how that would look. >> yeah, well, it was pretty interesting. hillary clinton is already trying to play a populist card against donald trump. i mean, all of the attacks that you just played were basically class based attacks suggesting is he rich and out of touch. if you look back at what democrats did rather successfully with mitt romney who certainly was very wealthy but probably wasn't the kind of caricature that i think donald trump may become if hillary clinton attacks him this way. at the same time, i think a lot of republicans are saying, look, donald trump is willing to take on hillary clinton if he is the republican nominee in a way that other republicans haven't been willing to. he is willing to sort of touch the very raw nerves that other republicans have long thought were, you know, too raw to even contemplate. >> like bill clinton. >> like bill

julie, tucker carlson and dana loesch. let me start with you dana lash as a cruz supporter.ible for the trump campaign that they avoid a second ballot with -- i mean cruz completely shut out tonight and we don't know what's going to happen in indiana it this are arguments that ted cruz should do well threatened and arguments that donald trump should. the polling in that state has been unreliable. >> no recent polling either. unreliable. i'm not surprised that donald trump won his home state. ted cruz won his home state of texas with bigger margin and wider primary field. 1.2 million votes in texas. right now in new york trump is about over 420,000. he has fewer votes than bernie sanders does. he has also fewer votes than hillary clinton. there is just a bigger democrat turnout that kind of puts water on the argument that he would take that state in a general election if it got that far. look, he needs to sweep the districts, congressional districts in a number of states going forward. particularly in states like indiana and in states like california where the polling is incr

. >> dana adana loesch e we've seen terrible numbers for women supporting donald trump. when i had my ted cruz town hall just yesterday, he talked about his wife he talked about his daughters and made an allegation that he thinks donald trump has a difficulty with strong women. how much did that resonate? >> i think it resonated a lot. it humanized ted cruz. when they sit down and do these interviews their comments are very orchestrated. they don't like to let you look behind the veil too much. families are vulnerable. i think that was a more humanizing moment that ted cruz had. i wish trump would allow himself to be humanized a little more instead of showing himself to be just an icon or pop culture icon. because i think that his staying power in terms of growing his voter base that would be more effective if he did that. cruz did it last night. it's why he's surging right now and why you have the latest reuters poll for the first time he's leading trump right now, because he's having an effect. he's resonating voters. and it's appealing to them to see him as he humaniz
