we're back with our panel, april ryan, dana milbank and adolfo franco. an jeb bush find his inner jedi master and successfully take on donald trump? >> the force does not seem to have been with jeb for very many months now. i see very little evidence he's going to get his act back together. look, if we look at the republican primaries in the past, everybody sort of has his or her moment in the sun and will have a little rally. it's starting to look like the jeb bush rally goes from 3% to 5%. what really needs to happen if they want to stop trump, and i think that's an absolute imperative, is the reasonable candidates in the race, marco rubio, john kasich, need to get together and say we need to get behind somebody. we have to exercise our patriotic duty to get out of this race to make sure trump is not representing this party and conservatism. >> adolfo, even last night, "snl" had fun with the trump/bush kind of feud. watch this. >> trump, i mean, this guy is the chaos candidate. am i right? chaos? is he for real? no, man. >> jeb, you're a very nice man,

joining me dana milbank of "the washington post," mckay coppen and msnbc contributor victoria defrancesco. nice to have all of you with us today. there was a fair amount coming out of that debate given the fact it was couched on a saturday night and not a lot of people were thinking much would come out of it. the national conversation today is donald trump/hillary clinton. have the two of them moved past the primary in their minds? are they already in the general election? >> each would like to. hillary's case, that seems quite realistic. i don't think anybody can be sure of what's going to happen in the republican primary at this point. trump sucks all the oxygen out of the room. the fact he weighs in on the democratic debate makes the democratic debate, which had not been newsworthy otherwise more newsworthy. particularly that he has the chutzpah to ask hillary clinton to apologize for saying something that was dubious or wrong when that is, in fact, donald trump's stock and trade. it's an irresistible story. >> i want to play, in case people didn't hear it, exactly what hillary clinton

stuart: i was reading "the washington post" this morning, and dana milbank on the left, a prominent op-edthat trump is a racist. that's what he said, he said it right like that. what's your reaction to that? >> hear is my reaction, it's time for americans to stop dividing each other. i'm so tired of this divisive language. i consider myself first and foremost a mother, a wife, a u.s. citizen, a utahan. that's how i label myself. it's time for us to come together as americans and do what we can to make sure we help every single one of us from all walks of life and races. stuart: maybe trump is pulling us apart, some of the his comments about mexicans and women. they are not inclusive. they're divisive. >> look at trustworthy polls. these are things that americans fear. they're looking at some of the divisive language and saying, i just don't trust this person. it's time for us to have a leader that's going to unite us as americans. you know, we have lived under these terrible negative policies for the past seven years. liberals give all americans, especially the poorest among them exactly
