the 48th district, orange county, dana rohrabacher, republican incumbent. e are the numbers right now. remember, the top two regardless of party will advanceo november. rohrabacher, the incumbent, out in front. and here is what worries democrats. tha candidate here, hans kerr standard, running at 19%, right behind him less than 4 vo baugh, a republican. now, there was a big split in the republican party. rohrabacher, he's been friendly towards russia, made positive comments about putin. there's aig split there. and this was the fear of democrats. if too many republican votes are split between these two and democrats aren't united, is there a chance baugh can get up there? so right now he is very close to that second-place spot. the other dynamic here, kerr stad started out as the favored democrat in this. the state party endorsed him. late in thiscampaign, harley root has done some stuff on his behalf. look at that, very close the two of them. it is allowing a potential scenario here. a lot of votes starting to come in. this is one that's scaring democrats.
