this plane was bound for danbury airport in connecticut. searches takes place in a reservoir in westchester county. tracie strahan is there and joins us on the phone. >> repor r: michael, our crew is having a tough time trying to get around a pitch black reservoir. that's where they believe this small plane went down on approach to danbury airport in conn itticut around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. we're going to show you video of the extensive search that actually is set to resume at 6:00 this morning. earlier they called it off from 1:00 a.m. because of fog. weg aw many boats in this area and a lot oc emergency crews searching for what they believe is a small aircraft that went missing. i did try to get in contact with the faa. they have not responded to exactly what's going on here and exactly what type of plane they're looking for. we saw several local agencies responding to the scene, including yorktown heights. we didn't see anyone from the faa in that video. again, there are unconfirmed reports that the plane went down in this reservoir
