. >> joining us now is daniel gorivan from syria. i'm wondering how much of what is going on in europe right now and those terrible pictures including the 3-year-old washed up on the shore in turkey, how much of that is having an impact on the people? all the refugees there? these are not ill informed decisions people are making. they're just very, very desperate and it's a reflection of the increasingly bad situation in these neighboring countries. we've seen migrants come from the conflict in syria for years now the syrian war is now in its fifth year. we've already seen 380 migrants reach europe and last year it was only 145,000. why are so many more coming this year? they're having to drastically cut the number of refugees. coupled with that there's a restriction on the ability of refugees to earn a living and they're try try to work and are in prison. in those countries the surrounding syria? do you think that will put them off into the dangerous journey into europe? the source of the problem is the raging conflict in syria. com
