london breed, mark farrell, daniel lurie, aaron peskin and asha safai are taking part.polling shows mayor london breed leading in that race. however, a lot of voters say that they are still undecided, meaning a lot of things could change between now and november. now to a follow up, the san francisco board of supervisors, moving forward with a plan by the mayor to bring the famed chinese pandas to the san francisco zoo. the vote specifically gives the mayor permission to raise private funding to pay for the plan. the plan is expected to cost about $25 million. using private money to not only bring the pandas here, but to build a habitat for them as well. the next step for the mayor is to create a committee to start fundraising. how voters will get a chance to vote in november to reform a long time proposition over drug charges. proposition 47, passed ten years ago, and it aimed to reduce jail populations by loosening the penalties around drug and theft crimes. critics say this has emboldened thieves. a bipartisan group called california for safer community colleen voted

it shows mark farrell leading by about 23, 21% to mayor breed, 20% for daniel lurie peskin at 17. asha sapphire in round 5. are you surprised at all by these numbers and what do these numbers show in terms of what the mayor needs to do to try to get those numbers up heading into this debate tonight? >> well, first of all, interesting numbers, but they're all within the margin of error, right. and that's an important thing. you have to look at the polling very carefully, which guys like me do to see, you know what the what the statistics are within the, within the polling. but but the bottom line is mayor breed is in trouble in the sense of, you know, she's running neck and neck or maybe a little bit behind mark farrell. so she's got her work cut out for her. but do not ever underestimate the power of incumbency. she's on the news every single day. these other people are trying to break their way into the news cycle. and there is a difference there. >> yeah. and remember, it is ranked choice voting, right? we're not just picking one person that we'd like for mayor. we're ranking th
