we spoke with daniel lurie yesterday. we'll be talking with former interim mayor mark farrell tomorrow and then incumbent mayor london breed on friday. okay, now to the heat that just isn't letting up. san francisco saw the temperatures soar into the 90s for a second day, and in a city that, as we all know, is known for foggy, cool temperatures. well, doctors say the heat can be especially dangerous for people who just aren't accustomed to it. staying hydrated is important. so too, is taking frequent breaks to cool off and watch out for symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. >> we in san francisco aren't used to heat like this, so people that live in places that are typically hotter, they tend to acclimate and we don't. and so it can impact us more easily and more quickly than we would otherwise realize. >> the homeless are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of extreme heat, less. alexander, the man you see here, has been giving out water to people in the city's tenderloin neighborhood the last two days, he said
