. >> reporter: family of daniel quinnlen are trying to understand how a driver went off the road in hamiltonownship tuesday night, ran over quinnlen and crashed in his parent's house. >> she went airborne over hedge and didn't see it coming. >> reporter: forty year-old jeffery from lambertville was driving westbound on the road just before 8:00 p.m. he crossed lanes, launched his suv off an embankment and landed in front of the home. neighbor michael nowicki ran over with the fire extinguisher to help. >> i went into the house, checking the car, driver's not there, i shut the car off, the driver asked for his cell phone, grabbed his cell phone for him and then come back out and make sure there was nobody else around. >> reporter: immediately following the crash family didn't know where daniel was located. they thought he went out to the store but it wasn't until they realized his car was still here that at first responders began looking around, that is when they discovered that he was still in the tea brings. >> didn't say anything to the family at the start, immediately when they hung up th
