vance. one of the five victims shot and killed in that attack. kelly loving was also killed, derrick rump, daniel and ashley paugh. marla, we'll get to you for more in a minute on the victims and the heroes in this horrific situation including fierro. but priscilla, we're just in the last couple of minutes, learning more about the suspect. bring us up to speed on that. >> we learned a short while ago the suspect has been released from the hospital and is in custody. he has been taken to the jail there and they say -- he had been in the hospital the last couple of days. the police were going to release a statement then said it wouldn't be coming and wouldn't say anything until monday because there are judicial proceedings outside of their control. we also heard the police chief saying they had gotten clearance from the hospital that the suspect was in good enough condition to be released so that has now happened. we also understand that he has still not given a statement to police at this time but even so, this investigation is continuing with investigators here on the scene working to continue to
