the defense in the daniel willyam murder trial had presented their case. than was the more likely killer. he had the motive, they claimed, and a collection of weapons. daniel did not testify in his own defense, but he did speak to us, and he made a blockbuster accusation. with the conclusion of our story here's keith morrison. >>> reporter: daniel willyam, on trial for murdering shelly nance, has a complaint about the way the world is. though he didn't testify, he wanted us to know something about him. and his concern that people -- young people especially -- lack courtesy. they're just too rude. like, for example, the young people he lived with at the art institute of dallas. >> what i was trying to do is be courteous to the people that lives around you. >> it's a lot of discourtesy expressed by these kids?
