daniel and i are both sort of latecomers to this. we started the study in the mid-90s and i started around 2000 or 2004 and by then a lot of water was under the bridge. during the first couple of decades in the a response to the epidemic, people were so terrified and trying so hard to help and people sort of made bats in their hearts are of things that they thought would work. so you get this secretion of this sort of faith-based devotion to certain response to the epidemic. so coming in late to the story there has been a huge benefit for perhaps they and in particular just because you can sort of see what others -- where others might've gone off track. so to go back to the meat of your it is more people's everyday lives. as i said men having a wife and girlfriend, a woman having a husband who spent 11 months out of the year at a mine and while the husband is gone she might have a boyfriend in maybe his help paying rent or school fees for her children. so what you get is a much broader kind of network of sexual interaction. and so, y
