. >>> let's see where the storm is heading now with danielle breezy from our nashville affiliate, wkrnnielle, good morning to you. >> reporter: and good morning, whit. we begin with that major storm out west that's bringing heavy rain to the coastlines. in the mountainous regions we're seeing heavy snow. we actually have now 14 states that are under wind and snow alerts, so that's a lot of states. that's going to spread todd east and the middle of the country. wind gusts of 40, not to mention possible whiteout conditions, even blizzard conditions out there. wednesday morning, we could see 1 to 2 feet of snow, and then we're also watching the warmer could see severe weather in the deep south from new orleans to little rock, damaging winds and tornadoes. that's all possible. back to you, eva. >>> now to the major pipeline spill in kansas, the largest spill on land in nearly a decade. abc's em nguyen joins us with more on the cleanup. good morning, em. >> reporter: good morning, eva. officials on the ground tell us it's a busy site with increased work forces, including remediation crews.
