joining us now danny cevallos. good morning to you. i want your first impressions of day one. video? >> of course. the video is the best piece of evidence in the prosecution's possession. they led with it. we'll probably see it again. most of us have seen images. we have seen snippets. i doubt all of us have sat and watched all nine-plus minutes of this awful video. and i don't recommend it if you don't have to because it is just, just agonizing to watch. and you better believe that the juror had to sit there and watch all of it. i stood up and walked away. the jury didn't have that luxury. the prosecution knows that's awful to watch. they led with it. they know it's powerful evidence and followed up with mr. williams who is a good witness and snuck in a little bit of expert/non-expert testimony. mr. williams is an mma fighter. he opined this was a kind of choke hold on george floyd. good strategic move by the prosecution there. >> i also wonder what you make of the defense's opening, which of course sort of sets the tone for much of the trial. >> the defense had its work cut
