the use of shock events, disaster capitalism, brother dante talked about katrina and danielle talked about katrina. that was a shock even though the people that benefited the most from it were not the people that lived there. the shock even is used to create issue silos. organize or die but right away, break down the silos. there were amazing movements that included muslim americans, and arab americans, prior to 9/11. and then this shock event happened and all of a sudden, we are treating our arab brothers and sisters and muslim brothers and sisters as combatants. i would say right now, let us start doing the organizing of intersectionality and action. and begin the process of making sure that they cannot put up the silos against us. they cannot turn beautiful people like polly jean against me because i am black. just get the silos out of the way immediately. what are you going to do to break that silo down? what community that you have never been to before are you going to go to and start organizing? we cannot ask the democratic party or count on them to do that. they will count on
