temperatures homogenized through 7:00 then the breeze will pick up and thin out those clouds quickly with 52 at 4:00 with our fastest winds. look at the winds at 4:00, 62 to 68 temperatures and back in the 50s by 7:00, so it will definite will i be cooler. well, you can barely see through the cloud cover. now you really can't see, so it gives you an idea of how rapidly our clouds are increasing. windy at the beaches and a small craft advisory if you are going to be out on the bay. keep that in mind. it will not be an easy day to be on or near water. air quality thanks to the strong on shore sausalito. into the valley, 68 to 74 degrees with the tri-valley being the coolest in the upper 60s. around the state everybody is cooling down a little bit. look at the mid-60s around san diego and los angeles, to 52 in tahoe where we have a mixture of rain and snow today. snow level is about 6900 feet. i will talk about that coming up. low to upper 40s with more cloud cover tonight except in the north bay. you can see the temperatures steady through wednesday, thursday, maybe 2 degrees warmer friday, then there is the ginormous jump saturday with mid to upper 80s inland by sunday. even are tracking breaking news around the vaccine. the cdc recommending pausing the j&j vaccine after six reports of a rare but severe blood clot. jobina? >> the six cases of blood clots were among women 18 to 48 years old and symptoms occurred 6 to 14 days after vaccination. until both agencies review and investigate, they are calling for a pause in the use of the vaccine. meanwhile the health director is pleading with the state of michigan to shutdown amid skyrocketing covid cases but gov gretchen whitmer say as lockdown is not necessary doubling down on vaccine distribution to reach herd immunity is the goal. >> we have to gird down. we are getting close. >> we have to go to where we were last summer, shut things down and flattening the curve. >> the daily case average is as peak summer surge levels at about 66,000 cases per day. experts say looser restrictions and more contagious variants are driving the spike. meanwhile, fema is accepting applications for covid funeral reinbusments. within the first 90 minutes of applications being opened they received nearly 1 million calls. reggie? >>> jobina, thank you. two more counties here in the bay area have opened up vaccine appointment availability for anyone 16 and up. amy hollyfield is live at the new vaccination site opening today at the morin county fairgrounds. amy, who can now make a vaccine appointment there? >> reporter: so, here at this site in morin county, it is for residents who currently meet the state eligibility. it is alamea county and santa clara county. they will take it one step up ahead of the state, allowing 16- year-olds and up to make an appointment. but everyone in the state will be -- 16 and older and up -- will be eligible starting on thursday. so those two counties will have the upper hand for a couple of days. the issue though, of course, will be supply. sites are getting better. they are getting more efficient and getting these shots out as time goes by. they just say they need the shots. they have the infrastructure in place. they are having to deal with inconsistent shipments of the vaccine. >> well, there isn't enough vaccine supply already, so i think that that is a challenge that we are all facing. people in the interim time are going to have to just be patient. we asked people to be patient and register with the site so that we can contact you when more vaccine supply becomes available. >> reporter: the demand is definitely there. look at this line outside the san francisco general hospital this weekend. these people were hoping to get 2,000 doses available there. will thousand walk-ins were turned away over the weekend in san francisco, so eligibility does continue to go up. it is just a fight to get the shot, to find the shot. the shipments are the issue. officials say just keep trying. here in morin county, a new mass site opening today here at the fairgrounds. live in san rafael, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. >> thank you, amy. >>> with limited supply on top of a huge influx of eligibility, there is concerned about increased frustration to sign up for vaccines, a process that has already challenging. we have abc7 kate larsen on our team. she has more on where you can get the vaccine and make an appointment. >> reporter: the san francisco director of health says while eligibility is opening to everyone 16 and older on thursday, it may take weeks to get appointments because of supply constraints. she says right now most of the supply is going to pharmacies and federally qualified health centers, and san francisco is still working to equitably distribute the vaccines in the hardest hit zip codes and trying to insure families of 16 and 17-year-olds that want the vaccine know where to get pfizer, the only vaccine fda emergency use authorized for those ages. she says dph does not recommend people travel outside the bay area to get vaccinated. >> the other reason, particularly, to not travel, is that wherever you get your first dose, you need to go back to get your second dose. they are getting allocations based on who they gave their first dose to. >> set your expectations you probably will not get your first appointment you try to sign up for. >> reporter: after helping bay area families secure appointments, this bay area mom decided to launch a website dedicated to helping people navigate vaccine signups and helps run the vaccine facebook group and advises vaccinefairy.org which offers vaccine assistance. her advice -- >> don't get discouraged, keep trying. >> reporter: she recommends teaming up with
