darcy, what led to this police chase?rter: well, we can confirm with police that this started right here in this area. new hampshire avenue and lockwood drive. you can see behind me there is a 7-eleven here. we were able to talk to the storeployees and look at the video of an incident that ppened very early this morning llound the same time that police got this ca. now if you look at the video, you see two people dressed in dark clothing, basically run into the store. they appear to jump over the counter. they appear to tamper with the surveillance cameras inside the store. when i looked at the cameras, it appeared that something had been sprayed ovem th, possibly a black spray paint. then the suspects ran out of the store. it does not appear that they took anything or got away with anyttng. we're sl trying to figure that out. right around the same time, montgomery county police began a pursuit of some suspects near in this area. it ended in a crash on the outer loop of the beltway. pickup ere pursuing a truck, and it cra
