has brought up today, both the fact that they are not going to be charging darren wilson with any kind of civil rights violations but that they are bringing some other sort of action. here is what the family of michael brown has said both his mother and his father. she says while we are saddened by the decision they are talking about the decision not to bring charges against darren wilson we are encouraged that the d.o.j. will hold the ferguson police department accountable for the pattern of racial bias and profiling they found in their handling of interactions with people of color. it is our hope that through this action true change will come not only in ferguson but around the country. so that is their comment for now. i just got this information just a few minutes ago from someone who is aware of this meeting that's supposed to happen. between a representative of the department of justice who is here in the st. louis area and the family of michael brown, as well as some of the protest leaders. we are hearing that that will also happen today. they will have a private meeting with th
