police say they tried to stop 26-year-old darryl watson jr. for a seat belt violation. it started in the 1800 block of druid hill avenue yesterday evening, but he took off. that led police on a pursuit right to the edge of baltimore city, where they then called off their chase. sky team 11 followed the car on to i-97 -- i-95, then on to i-97, then on to route 100. the car eventually exited off telegraph road. it crashed into a vehicle after it crossed the center line. the suspect bailed out, started running off into the wooded area. officers with canine units did eventually catch up with him. they found him in a vacant house about half a mile away. >> very scary, because had i left work when i was supposed to, i could have been a part of that accident, which thank god, i stayed at work a little late. >> police say watson was not the owner that have vehicle he was driving n. violation of a parole warrant. no one was injured during the chase. >> we knew the storms were coming last night, but man, was that heavy rain. currently there are thousands of bg&e customers without
