janelle burrell, cbs 2 news. >> thank you. >>> a suspect is under arrest in the murder of a brooklyn rabbi in florida last year. as he walked the to his daughter's home. natalia zea is live from miami gardens in florida with more. >> reporter: well, chris, early this morning, police raided this home here in miami gardens. they arrested the teenager who lives here for the murder of that rabbi. the rabbi's family is grateful for the arrest but the suspect's family says this young man is innocent. >> not yet but on the way. it's a step towards justice. >> reporter: he got the call from the state attorney's office this morning that after 16 months, they made an arrest for the murder of his father-in- law, a beloved rabbi. the suspect was just 14 at time he was shot to death as he walked to synagogue on the day of the sabbath. the crime put the jewish community in north miami beach on edge. >> sad that a kid not even 18 i don't know what his story is, the background, but there's no excuse for an act like that. >> reporter: charles' loved ones see this arrest differently. >> this is being pinned on a young teenager that has a little issues, who doesn'
