i'm dave clark. it's friday, october 8th.e are following breaking news out of the state capital, where just a short time ago, lawmakers passed the main budget bill. ktvu's jade hernandez is outside the state senate. we have her on the phone now. jade, good morning. >> good morning. a live report here. lawmakers, though, are not done yet. there were a few minor bills which haven't been billed on yet. officially passed a bill before 7:30 this morning. that's the main budget bill. lawmakers have been working straight since yesterday afternoon. the state assembly had already passed what is named officially sb870, 5:00 yesterday evening. this is a massive budget. makes up to 87.5 billion budget plan. approving the budget has taken lawmakers $100. it has been a long day and night here. just to remind everyone, this contains no new taxes or fees. biit does count on receiving $3.5 billion from the federal government and the state generating an extra billion or so in tax revenues. also, under the deal, nearly $2 billion allocated woul
