i'm dave clark. very first day of february s sal is ready and he's busy early because we have a traffic problem. that's right. two jackknifed truck and several other cars got mixed up, all right near the oakland main post office there at seventh on 8 80. you know it, you'll probably see it as you drive by. sometimes that huge post office there. that's where the crash is. now. there were moderate injuries that there's no hazmat, but traffic is being taken off at 9 80. there's a big back up there. fortunately for you, you could get up to 5 80 avoid the whole thing. and just drive to the maze and continue with your day if you get up to 5 80 southbound 80 is not affected. we'll keep watching this. this has been there for two hours now and hopefully anytime soon. they're going to start clearing it up. they did say about an hour ago that it would be cleared in an hour or waiting on that 4 27. let's bring steve back in with today's weather. good morning, steve. morning, sal. thank you, sir. we will take a l

good morning, dave. will that act of misconduct you just mentioned has to do with an oakland police sergeant who was behind the wheel in a hit and run crash. he was driving a city owned vehicle when he struck a parked car parked mercedes in san francisco, cost $15,000 in damage, then drove off and never reported it when oakland police departments in internal affairs division found out and looked into it. the report says. they downplayed it and never disciplined the sergeant. now the question was, did chief laurent armstrong know about this? mayor shane tao put him on administrative leave because of the allegations in that report, and the claim that the chief didn't do enough to hold that sergeant accountable now, armstrong claims he didn't have all the information about what happened. his subordinates didn't share the details with him on that crash. and that it's not customary or even opd policy for the chief to read every page of every internal affairs investigation that 80 page confidential report that
