it's hard for us to even understand conflict and i don't know if you are going to go into the dave chapelle stuff. i've had my own conversations with my community but i think it's been so disappointing about what happens i believe that it can be generative instead of seen as a generative moment. not only has the social media. but the media has created and continues to create this sort of dichotomy around how us versus them and i think the work we are trying to do especially as an abolitionist is shift our cultural away from punishment revenge and lean into dignity. that really changes depending on who has power and who has money and resources and who has access. i'm very much looking forward to having a conversation about building an abolitionist culture and one thing i want to name to close this out is the book isn't out yet. it was supposed to come out but because of covid we have a shortage of printers so it will be out january 205th and i'm glad you got an early copy of it. >> [inaudible] i think that it's important i also think this does tie into what you are talking about in your book
