i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. it's monday, march 19th. >>> investigators are looking to generate new leads in the disappearance of a 15-year-old morgue be hill girl. she was last seen heading to school. ral allie rasmus has more. >> -- allie rasmus has more. >> reporter: good morning. investigators found her cell phone. she was last seen leaving her morgan hill home supposedly heading to school but she never arrived. on friday evening, search crews started to comb for her. in one of the fields, investigators found her cell phone. it was near the side of the road t appears to have been tossed from the car. her mother said her daughter has never run away from home before and it's not something that she would do. she said she was very crows to her sister -- close to her sister and did not mention a boyfriend or anything. >> my gut tells me something's not right. she would not intentionally leave us in limbo worrying about her like this. something isn't normal about the situation. it doesn't make

dave clark has the day off. it's monday, march 12th. >>> topping our news, more gun violence on the streets of oakland. police are investigating two shootings. one victim is a 13-year-old girl. allie rasmus is live with more. >> reporter: well, the 13-year- old girl is expected to recover. she was shot in the forearm and is expected to be okay. investigators have been trying to talk to her and try to get more information -- trying to get more information about what happened. this is the intersection where she was found, 18th avenue and east 15th street, around 2:30. this morning. it was from there, paramedics rushed her to children's hospital. but investigators say this is not where she was shot. somebody dropped her off here. police don't believe this shooting was connected to another earlier shooting that happened about two and a half miles away where the 13-year- old was found. it was just after 11:00 last night. two men were found shot from nonlife-threatening shot injuries. one appeared alert and was sittin

dave clark is off. it's friday, march 16th. more than two dozen firefighters spent the night putting out a huge fire in napa. it started on mustang road at a home last night. tara moriarty is live with more. tara? >> reporter: well, firefighters are asleep right now. they should be waking up shortly. but napa was not the main agency on this fire, calfire was. but together, about 30 firefighters battled the firefighter that happened shortly before 10:00 last night. officials say an eld man was sleeping in his bed -- an elderly man was sleeping in miss bed and woke up to the crackling noise. luckily, he was able to get out of the house. he was on the other side of the house from where the fire started. his cat did not survive. officials believe the fire started in the garage. inside was gun powder and ammunition. that set off a string of explosions. it took crews two hours to get the flames contained. after crews did get the fire contained. they had to leave. they will go back this morning and make sure all of those hot spots are

i'm tory campbell. >> and i'm dave clark. following the e fetes of two big water main breaks in the east bay. this water main break on seventh and powell. paul chambers is telling us about traffic in the area. >> reporter: i can barely hair -- hear you. it's about the changing of the guard. you could see a half an hour ago they had clean up going on. that's where the problem this morning. this is the area where the main break happened they say it's about a five by 12-foot hole that ruptured and it's about 4 feet down. about 2:00 in the morning the scene was a little bit different. there were pools of standing water filling powell street and emeryville. a water main break caused a gas station to be shut down as the water flooded the parking lot make its way across the roadway. now for a short period of time, police officers were out here directing traffic. so the original call came in just before 1:30 this morning and crews were able to get a handle of the situation pretty quickly only a near by office had its water temporaril

i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. >>> overnight news from the east bay.vestigating a deadly stabbing in pittsburg. ktvu's paul chambers is on the scene. good morning, paul. >> reporter: good morning, tori. the police say the two people knew each other, the victim and the suspect. around 9:00 last night, officer the got a 911 call -- officers got a 911 call. once on the scene, they found an unresponsive female who had been stabbed. she was later pronounced dead on the scene. now, police have a suspect in custody. we're told he's a 20-year-old pittsburg resident. officers picked him up a few blocks away. this was not a random act. police say there have been many issues inside the home. once again, we can't show you the home because family has not been notified. he said there's been issues there before as well. that's about as much as he wanted to tell us. he did not want to go on camera. we'll stay on top of this and bring you more as it develops. paul chambers, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> an overnight -- in overnight news, a motorcyclist plum eted to his -- p
