i'm dave clark. let's go to steve paulson. h. close enough. we have some areas, sun already. where is the front? it's getting there. there's some rain to the north bay. a little bit in marin county up to doe bega bay. guerneville getting light rain healdsburg, santa rosa says light rain. some of this is so light it doesn't show up on the ray -- radar. mill valley a little bit heading toward inverness, dylan beach and off the coast there's some. even if you have the sun half moon bay or el granada or parts of the san mateo/santa cruz coast, the system is moving toward us. 50s, sciths on the coast. the wind is turning southerly. we'll have a south wind in advance of that and then a north wind later in. that will usher in cooler temps. a very weak front. i remember the old days when we would get a good front in here. maybe friday we will. this is a little guy. it will give us light rain. mostly cloudy. if you need to do something, go for it, now the next two hours we'll probably get lowdz in here -- clouds in here and light rain.

i am dave clark. let's talk about weather and traffic. right over there. >> thank you, dave. we have clear skies. a little chill. had a nice email from judy. she says it's 48 degrees this morning. i believe it. we had a lot of 40s. more bay -- north bay. east bay. heat advisories out. but i think this applies to areas that aren't used to anything over 55 or 56, which will be 85 today. inland temps it's nothing they haven't seen or felt or dealt with before. finally bouncing off some of the morning lows. 64 sfo. a lot of 50s here. a lot more than yesterday. there has been a huge difference. some of the higher elevations are warm. about 70 degrees. i can't find really a strong offshore breeze. there is a component of it. 60s for some. it will be warm. it will be hot for some. it will be above average on the temps. you can see slight easterly breeze but generally less than 5 miles per hour. lots of sunshine today. the coast is the place to be as we'll have a very warm ocean temps. there is no fog and that easterly breeze looks like it transl

friday, october 17th i'm dave clark. >> good morning, i'm pam cook.ith us. it's 6:31. we will be a little bit more interested in the weather in kansas. >> it's been raining there off and on. worse than here. but we will track that obviously. as we head toward the next couple of days we have a system we will keep an eye on. there is a lot of cloud cover over us. the rain is still 10-12 hours away from us. it's inching closer. it still has ways to go. mostly cloudy. two parts of this system is a little low developing here that will split part of the system. another one right there. we have two of that system that will weaken it and split it. it looks like a lot of cloud cover over us. temperatures starting off in the 40s and 50s but it's starting to come up. and we are getting a sourly breeze. sfo at 50 degrees. petaluma is in there. also healds burg and lake port. there is a little chill in the morning air. the cloud cover not moving in yet. that will trap some of the cool air which means it will be a cool day with 60s for some. cloudy to mostly cloudy

. >> i'm dave clark. let's talk about weather and traffic. >>> we have a beautiful forecast for kansas city. it will be nice there. 70 degrees first pitch. the big question, game 3 back hole. it looks warm and windy to me. mostly sunny to partly cloudy. a little chilly to some. partly sunny but mild to warm even though we're starting off very cold. there is a big moisture source taking aim at northern california. mostly sunny, partly cloudy skies. noticeable chill in the air. 43 at the napa airport. that's the coolest i could find. 40s in la fayette, alamo and san ramon. all of the way down to morgan hill and find some 44s. a lot of rain will fall to the north. some of this will make it to the south. but not until tomorrow, then we lift it up and not bring it in until late friday or early saturday. 60s or 70s. we've had a fire in gilroy. three alarms, sal? >> that's right. we'll have a report coming up. but 101 in gilroy, you might be able to see that from the highway. we have an update on that coming up.
