. >> and good morning, i'm dave clark. welcome to tuesday, december 10th. and steve paulson is talking about fog and cold temperatures. >> there's plenty of both here, especially north on the cold and fog to the east. but today is kind of a tweener day. wind up in the hills as well. we're getting ready for a pretty big change and it's starting a little bit today. 29 santa rosa to 51. in the city, palo alto is down to 32, san jose 36 and livermore. it's a bouncing between about 3741, depending on the wind. but you just go over the hill a little bit and tracy has zero visibility. concord buchanan is down to two, fairfield two and a half. and i know there's some fog kind of creeping back in over the hills towards clayton and also livermore, so but i mean, if you're in other locations, you're fine. but boy, i'll tell you, eastern solano, contra costa county, that can be a tough call there. east wind almost 40 miles an hour on the east side of mount tam, 35 right above the claremont. so there's some pretty good offshore wind in place here for some today. mostly

and good morning i'm dave clark. welcome to wednesday. thank you for joining us. i'm assuming you were shivering on the way in. >> let me see. i had the beanie on, seat heaters going, fan blowing the hottest. steve paulson, i have to say, you called it. yeah, it was about 12 days ago. you said, i think we're in for about a 12, 13 day dry stretch. am i right? yes. >> yeah. there were some hints that it might even be longer than that on the weekend. now they've all reversed course and rain is on the way tonight. but boy, yesterday if you were inland, it was a cold one. coast was nice. but we have, i think another nice sunrise here coming up here but 27 in middletown this morning. windsor sonoma, sonoma state university, woodside, danville, lafayette and campbell all wonderful places between 32 and 33 to cold degrees. a little bit of haze out there, a few high clouds. you get a break in the morning though. 30s on a lot of the temps here. again, it's cold, but our system is on the way. it's knocking on the door. can i come in? not yet. not yet. tonight you can though.

i'm dave clark i'm gasia mikaelian. >> it is friday, december 6th.w it's a busy weekend for a lot of people. holiday things, sports activities. steve paulson. the weather is not really getting in our way. is it? >> no, not at all. not. not unless the cold bothers you. but you can wait a few hours for that. but yeah, we'll start with the cold, though. incredibly cold across the country, by the way. the seasonal outlook here from one of the major forecast models for december was below average snow. oops. i already missed it. and it's december 6th. that seasonal forecasts are really hard challenge and a work in progress. and it's cold for many. i mean it was 24 this morning in atlanta, 18 in nashville. that is really cold here. we have a few 30s, but we're not that cold. but livermore, 37, made it to 3751 in the city. that's three above average warm december days. i know they don't last long, but between about one and four they get into the upper 60s. 70s next hint of rain would be around the 14th or 15th. everything until then is not going to matter ex

i'm dave clark. >> i'm gasia mikaelian. it is monday, december 16th.t. i don't think we're done for a while. i mean, at least there, you know, we're getting some distance between each system, which helps if you're south. it's just really not much less. on the weekend was a different story, but this system is all about areas to the north. and i mean, some of the rain totals coming in. some areas are getting a nice sunrise, others are getting a lot of rain. west healdsburg 68/100. couple locations in the russian river, casadero and guerneville around .67. santa rosa airport already had a half inch of rain and point reyes has already had a half inch of rain. so if you're north, it's rain. if you're south, it's increasing clouds and temperatures are in the 40s here. i don't think these will change, but i mean, this is just, again, bodega bay, dylan beach, point reyes, petaluma, santa rosa, over to napa county and even out to solano county. that's that's the line. and it's been this way on many systems going back to november. and that's again being focused
