dave reed there in india. that is it for this week's show.m throughout the week on instagram, facebook, youtube and twitter at @bbcclick. thanks for watching. hello there, we had some pretty big contrasts weatherwise across the uk on thursday. it was the north of the country that had the best of the sunshine. this is how things looked in the highlands of scotland, and across england and wales we had this weather front that has been with us for a number of days, bringing grey and gloomy weather. some mist and drizzle around here in hampshire and across the south wales sunny bridge, temperatures only got to five celsius, pretty chilly. over the next few hours, that weather front stays with us so expect it to stay dull, damp, some mist and hillfog patches around through the night but it is the cloud that stops that temperature from falling too far, so those around five or six celsius across the southern areas of england. further northwards, with clear skies and light winds, it is a cold night, the frost more widespread. the lowest temperatures i

dave reed there in india. that is it for this week's show.@bbcclick. thanks for watching. hello. we had some heavy rain through the night across north—west of england and wales. that weather front continues southwards and eastwards. it will allow for an improvement of sunny spells and scattered showers following on behind. you can see this clearly from the weather watcher from whitley bay earlier today. lots of blue sky and sunshine coming through. it may stay like that for much of the day. the weather front pushing its way into east anglia and the south—east by the middle of the afternoon, behind it quite a clearance, still the risk of some showers, most frequent into the far north of scotland, accompanied by gale force gusts. that will make it feel cooler as the winds in the north of scotland swing round to a northerly. temperatures here struggling at around four or five degrees. elsewhere, likely to see double figures at ten or 11 as the day time maximum. the rain, with showers, that will ease through the night, winds fall lighter, and wit

dave reed there in india. that is it for this week's show.t @bbcclick. thanks for watching. hello, there. yesterday it was scotland that had the best of the day's bright weather, with some spells of sunshine coming through, for example in this weather watch picture from the aviemore area. it was not like that everywhere though. for england and wales, we've had a slow—moving weather front with us for a couple of days now, and that's been bringing some murky weather and outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. that front is this stripe of cloud you can see here. and it is this weather front that separates the mild but rather murky weather to the south, to the clearer, sunnier conditions, but colder conditions that we have across the north of the uk. now, over the next few hours, that weather front is still with us, bringing cloud and rain, murky as well across parts of the midlands, wales and southern counties of england, with some hill fog patches. but it is the cloud that stops it from getting too cold, so it's actually quite mild. temperatures f

dave reed there in india. that is it for this week's show.tching. hello there. if you're craving some spring sunshine, bear with me, i might be able to help with that. but for the time being, we have seen some rain around during the early hours. as you can see, it's starting to ease away from eastern england. and we had rain and mountain snow in scotland. that will clear as well. but it's a real messy picture, really, this weekend. there will be some rain at times and it's going to turn increasingly windy. so, a legacy of cloud for the next few hours. hopefully that cloud will thin and break for some brightness to come through, but by the end of the afternoon, more wet and windy weather arrives into northern ireland. at least the wind direction coming from a south—westerly so it will be a little bit milder than yesterday — temperatures ranging from eight to 1a degrees as a maximum this afternoon. now that wet and windy weather will push in from northern ireland and it's going to bring some heavy rain for a time into scotland. the winds are st
