dave ross reviews tiger's 2nd ross coming up next in sports. next-- 2nd round coming up next in sports. >>> you thought you were hot today? tiger woods braved the heat at bethesda's congressional country club. he won the at&t national in 2009 and, of course, is hoping for a repeat. dave ross is here with how tiger fared today. >> he fared quite want quite a hot day, but tiger said -- well on quite a hot day, but tiger said he's used to playing in conditions like this. he'll have to handle two more of those to win his own tournament again. on 16 this was the shot of the day from 45 feet away for eagle and it drops. moves to no. 8, tiger, this is his approach from about 134 yards out and it's going to go about 135 on- the-fly, but watch what happens. there is a back stop and that's why it's called a back stop because it stops and backs all the way up back to the hole within 3 feet. tiger would birdie to move to 3- under par at that point and tiger for yet another birdie on 9. this is where he was ending his round. could he get it to 3-under? burn

dave ross is live from congressional where it's hot out here and going to be a hot winter. four days and you will get a true test of golf. a couple of guys not going to be around, choy, villegas and michael thompson. they're going to miss the cut and tiger woods won't miss the cut and with that eagle on 16 from 48. you bet you, 1-under for the tournament and with teeing or 5 with the short birdie and in the ninth hole, and with another birdie and 3-under 68, 2-under for the tournament and how about vijay singh. haven't heard of him for a long time and on 18, the approach from 131 yards and he will like this and this is cozying up for an easy birdie. there are, look at the nice use of talent there and i need one. and this is hunter, the leader now and burning it up in the hot temperatures. a 6-under 65 and birdies on 18. seven-under for the tournament and they're all chasing hunter. tiger, how about your day, to? >> i thought today i got more out of my round and that is on a golf course like, this you will not hit it, you know, perfect all day and that is too difficult -- di
