so lets the latest on the weekend forecast from meteorolgist dave spahr. a weather system dropping from north to south off the west coast will bring rain chances to our area today and tonight, primarily near the coastal areas. another system will produce shower chances from late sunday into monday. dry weather is expected to return by tuesday. an extended period of dry weather, along with a warming trend, is then forecast through the remainder of next week. we got a very short notice that we had to evacuate. i just got a phone call from work came packed up everything, i mean the most important things and left. our top story this morning... the clean up after major flooding in san jose continues. thousands of people were impacted when coyote creek spilled over. flooding homes, and cars and forcing people out of their homes with little notice. and while some have been allowed to return, as many as 3 thousand people are still out of their homes. one woman who was allowed back describes what the evacuation felt like. i felt homeless i felt trapped i felt lost.
